The Best Paper Award

The 22nd FBC Reward Board Members: Prof. Bo Leckner from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, Prof. Yue Guangxi from Tsinghua University in China and Prof. Wojciech Nowak from AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland have selected three best conference papers out of twelve nominated.

The 22nd FBC Best Paper Awards were given to:

Perttu Jukola, Marko Huttunen, Pauli Dernjatin, Jouko Heikkilä and Lari-Matti Kuvaja  
for their paper "Retrofitting of Rauhalahti 270 MWth BFB Furnace with Low NOx Combustion Technique and SNCR"

Håkan Kassman and Lars-Erik Åmand
for their paper "Aspects on the flue gas chemistry of KCl, NO and CO during injection of ammonium sulphate – An experimental approach –"

Jonne Niemi, Daniel Lindberg, Markus Engblom, Tor Laurén and Mikko Hupa
for their paper "Alkali chloride transport within superheater deposits due to temperature gradients"

  • The proceedings for the 22nd International Conference on Fluidized Bed Conversion have been accepted  for inclusion in the Chemical Abstracts databases (via CAS).  
CAS - Chemical Abstracts Service, a not-for-profit division of The American Chemical Society, provides a valuable indexing service to researchers worldwide. It provides pointers to the original literature via CAS's databases and products. CAS provides the bibliographic citation for each article selected for inclusion in our products (article title, authors, journal name, issue, pagination, publisher, etc.) what gives enough information to obtain the original article or journal subscription from the source.
